HOLZAUGE SEI WACHSAM
Phoenix West, Dortmund, Germany
A short film by Marita Theiling, Hoboken Almanac's Gallery Director,
and Daria Fleige.
Phoenix West is a former steel mill, which stopped production
two years ago, and in the future it will be an e-commerce center.
The film is part of an Art Project by the Design Department of the
Fachhochschule Dortmund and contains a mysterious view of this area.
A security man explores at night the area of Phoenix West.
The viewer will get an emotional reaction, provoked through
the dark images and the sound.
The sound track is composed from original sounds of steel mills
and sounds you could find in this area.
If you have the possibility go and have a look!
