| "Through the Eye of the Camera" (TEC) is an organization that coordinates and
facilitates photography workshop-tours at locations around the world giving
participants the opportunity to study and photograph on location; whether it be
in France, Asia, the Middle East or Africa.
Photographers on assignment must acclimate themselves completely to the location they work in. Knowledge of light, climate, language, as well as cultural and political differences are crucial to the success of the project. TEC Tours provides a series of workshops for photographers who seek to strengthen their understanding of the medium of photography and apply this understanding on location. Participants in these workshops will be working with an English-speaking instructor as well as an English-speaking guide. Instructors involved with this program are working professionals in photography who are familiar with the areas where the workshops take place. The guides for the tours are also rich resources for the history, tradition, and customs of the various locations of the tours/workshops. |
