| New York to Paris and Back, General |
|
| Date: Spring, Fall, Winter Price: Upon Request Price includes airfare (from JFK to Paris and back, economy class), local transportation, 2-Star hotel (double occupancy, continental breakfast), 3 dinners, film and processing (1 roll of film + one day processing), all taxes and gratuity included. You will be staying at the 2-Star Eden Hotel, which is owned and run by a French family. It's a charming place where the mother sits at the desk during the day, the daughter in the early evening, and the son as the night clerk. The hotel is located near the Jules Joffrin Metro stop, with five different bus lines converging there, allowing you to take a bus directly to every major sight-seeing spot in Paris. Your Metro ticket is good for travel throughout the city of Paris. The first Sunday will be a walking tour of the neighborhood, and we will visit the famous flea market of Paris. The next 5 days your schedule will be of the following - Start the day with morning "shoots" guided by an English-speaking local photographer at different parts of town; in the afternoon the group may travel by bus or Metro to different museums or galleries; and in the evening there will be lectures by local photographers at the hotel. After the lecture, you are on your own. You will have Saturday free before we leave on Sunday. |
